Vintage Austrian Designer FRED ADLMÜLLER 1940's Silk Embroidered Lace Dress RARE

Chest: Up 36in B/C Cup

Waist: Up to 26in (Should fit to hang below waist so the top hangs properly.)

Hips: Up to 34in

Length: 55in

Features beautiful floral embroidered silk bodice with silk chiffon pleated skirting. Step-in styling with two hook closures at waist, v-neckline and low v-back. Silk straps with hand-rolled edges, 100% silk charmeuse and chiffon. Made in Austria. by renowned Austrain designer, W.F. Adlmüller. Truly the most rare, romantic essential.

Condition: Overall light age wear with some minor light discolorations on the skirting that is obscured by the folds and some light marking on straps. The dresses construction is hand done, we feel like there has been a slight alteration to the back waist band, it looks like it was extended by an inch or so. A strap is sewn on slightly different on one side, maybe as a result of alteration. The straps need to have their pleats reestablished. We have not attempted to clean the dress. The dress may need to be professionally tweaked to fit it’s new owner and then cleaned. We have considered, in the price, the extra TLC that may be needed. The dress is perfectly sound and wearable as is, short of a cleaning. This is a very rare and special gown. Please email Esme’s for additional photos or details - as all sales are final.
