Features beautiful, pale lemon silk ground, front and back silk embroidered flora & fauna with jeweled, matte gold-gilded frame and ornate closure, chain hand strap. Silk lined with a small side pocket that holds a small round, attached mirror. Most extraordinary, RARE essential.

Condition: Good condition for age. Light surface wear throughout, slight area of discoloration along the edge one bird on one side. Other side has many stitch repairs to the wire thread that outlines the design. Wire thread missing in some areas on same side. Most noticeable with close inspection. One chain link in chain handle has been replace - clamped closed, not soldered. Mirror has age wear. Lining in great condition. Overall, stills presents beautifully.
